St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School
Welcome
Welcome to our much loved and valued Catholic Primary School. St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School is part of the St John the Baptist Multi Academy Trust. Our school is enriched by close links with St Mary and St Peter Primary School in Gorleston, our other Catholic schools within the MAT and our local and global communities.
Our community promotes high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour and we believe that a strong partnership is essential between school and each child’s family to enable children to learn, grow and reach their full potential.
Our Mission Statement
When constructing our mission statement, first and foremost we asked our pupils for help. We wanted the children together with adults to create a mission which would represent everyone in our school and a mission which speaks from child's perspective. Children and adults created the following mission in Autumn 2021:
As God’s family we are STARs within a loving and thriving community, celebrating our diversity. We ignite lifelong learning where everyone becomes a positive influence on our world.
Mrs Ewa Parker - Head of School
Mrs Helen Armstrong- Executive Headteacher
