The Story of our School
The school was opened in 1967. It was built due to the generosity of the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur and the Roman Catholic community of Lowestoft who raised all the capital for the building.
Golden Jubilee of St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary
2017 marked the Golden Jubilee of St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary.
To celebrate this special moment in our school's history we have organised two special events:
Celebration for Former Staff and Governors
To coincide with the date when the construction of the school finished we had a special Mass for the whole school. We were joined by former Staff and Governors.
We also marked the occasion by asking Fr Paul to bless our new library.
Celebration for St Mary's Families 19th July
Bishop Alan Hopes celebrated Mass for us. We had a picnic lunch on the field overlooking our sea view!
