Newsletters for Academic Year 2024-2025
Newsletter 18th September 2024
Thursday 3rd October 2024 - Thank you to Father Pádraig and all parishioners who joined us for our Harvest Mass at school. Thank you to all the families that donated food for our Foodbank collection.
Friday 20th September 2024 - As a school we collected a marvellous £153 for Jeans4Genes day! We are very proud to support this good cause! Thank you to all who donated.
We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2023/24 academic year for all our PE and competition efforts! As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.
We look forward to applying once again in 2025!
We are proud to share that in our most recent Ofsted report we were given the judgement of Good in all areas! We are incredibly proud of all the work everyone at St Mary's has put in over the past two years to ensure our school is the best it can be.
We have had a wonderful day celebrating 'World Book Day 2024' and had fun discussing our favourite books, stories and characters
!
Our term dates are arranged so that we break up in the summer in the week before most schools. This gives families the chance to have a holiday before the peak season starts.
